Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Qgo Consumer Care Private Limited, which operates The Daily Drama Club, collects and uses your personal data. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

What we collect

  • Information you give us: name, delivery address, email address, phone number, and order history.
  • Payment information: processed directly by our payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials.
  • Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed and referral source, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Why we use it

  • To process, fulfil, ship and support your orders.
  • To handle returns, refunds and customer service requests.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, including misuse of Cash on Delivery.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To send you marketing messages — only where you have opted in.

Consent, and how to withdraw it

We ask for your consent before sending marketing communications by email or WhatsApp, and before setting non-essential cookies. Your consent is specific, informed and freely given, and you can withdraw it at any time — it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give.

To withdraw consent, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, reply STOP to a WhatsApp message, or write to info@dailydramaclub.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect our ability to send you transactional messages about an order you have placed.

Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies to run the website and keep your cart working. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies — including from Google and Meta — to understand how the site is used and to show you relevant ads. You can decline these without losing the ability to shop with us, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on our website or your browser.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed to run the business, with:

  • courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order;
  • payment gateways, to process payments and refunds;
  • communication providers, to send order updates;
  • analytics and advertising providers, where you have consented; and
  • government or law-enforcement authorities, where legally required.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as required by tax and company law. Other personal data is kept only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how it has been used;
  • correct or complete inaccurate data;
  • erase data we no longer need;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity; and
  • address a grievance about how we have handled your data.

Children

Our website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly process the personal data of a child without verifiable parental consent.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls and restricted administrative access — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach where required.
